The gender ratios of Landsvirkjun's employees and PPC are similar to previous years

Gaumur monitors the gender ratios of the employees at Krafla Power Plant, as well as the employees at PCC BakkiSilicon.

Data regarding the proportion of employees at Krafla Power Plat was first obtained in 2013. Men were 91% of the employees and women 9%. At the beginning of 2022, men were 88.5% of employees and women 11.5%. At Krafla Power Plant there is a total of 26 employees, which also operate the Þeistareykir power plant. There are 23 men and 3 women. The number of men increased by one between 2021 and 2022. Here we are only looking at the number of employees and not the number of full-time equivalents.

The development of the gender ratio of PCC BakkiSilicon's employees has been monitored since the beginning of 2019. In the gender ratios, 82% of employees were men and 18% women. At the beginning of 2022, men were 87.6% and women 12.3%. As with Krafla Power Plant, we are only looking at the number of employees, but not the number of full-time equivalents or their division by gender.
